This motor features a rated voltage of 72V DC and a rated current of 86.8A.
For equipment such as electric forklifts, AGVs, and electric pallet trucks, the motor does not operate in isolation but functions as part of an integrated powertrain:
Battery → Controller → Drive Motor → Reduction Gear → Drive Wheel
When sourcing, it is not enough to simply check the motor's power rating (kW); you must also verify that the battery voltage, controller output capacity, and motor rated current are mutually compatible.

This 5kW drive motor is equipped with a 48-pulse-per-revolution encoder, generating 48 pulse signals for every full rotation; the encoder feedback is utilized for monitoring motor speed and managing drive control.
For mobile equipment such as forklifts and AGVs, actual operation involves constant changes in state:
Start → Accelerate → Constant Speed ​​→ Decelerate → Stop → Reverse
With encoder feedback, the controller obtains precise data on the motor's actual speed, rather than relying solely on estimates based on input voltage or timing.

The 5kW drive motor is equipped with a KTY84-150 temperature sensor.
Temperature is a factor that cannot be overlooked.
Motor temperature rise increases significantly under conditions such as heavy-load startup, frequent acceleration and deceleration, prolonged operation, high ambient temperatures, and high-current operation.
The temperature sensor provides temperature signals to the control system, enabling temperature monitoring and appropriate protective control.
By purchasing this motor, you can go beyond simply ensuring it runs; you can also monitor its actual operating status.

This drive motor utilizes Class H insulation, which offers superior heat resistance compared to standard, lower-rated insulation systems.
However, please note that the insulation class does not imply the motor can operate at full load indefinitely.
The motor's ultimate temperature rise still depends on factors such as load, current, rotational speed, duty cycle, ambient temperature, and heat dissipation conditions.
If your equipment involves high-frequency, prolonged heavy-load operation, it is recommended that you provide the complete duty cycle to Auric for verification prior to purchase.
