The ADS series direct-drive switched reluctance motor drive system is a low-speed, high-torque motor product customized by AURIC for applications such as direct-drive presses, cooling towers, and screw pumps. The rated speed of the direct-drive switched reluctance motor is below 300 rpm, with a maximum output torque reaching 170,000 N·m. Adopting direct-drive motors can simplify mechanical transmission systems, reduce equipment failure rates, improve reliability, increase system efficiency by 10%–20%, deliver better energy-saving effects, and enable more precise stroke and position control.

Main Functions

 

The ADS series direct-drive switched reluctance motor drive system simplifies equipment structure by eliminating mechanical transmission components such as clutches, gearboxes, and pulleys. It enables driven equipment to achieve heavy-duty starting, frequent start-stop operations, and forward-reverse switching. Equipped with advanced digital technology platforms including DSP and CPLD, the system supports servo control functions. For fan and pump applications, it adjusts speed based on pressure and temperature feedback to achieve optimal matching with real-time loads. It can also be integrated with an industrial Internet-based remote monitoring system for equipment operation monitoring, control, and data storage.

  • Low-speed, high-torque with small starting current: 30% of rated current can output 200% starting torque; maximum starting torque is up to 3.5 times rated torque. Supports frequent start-stop and forward-reverse switching, with over 100 start-stop cycles per minute.
  • High efficiency at low speeds, low heat generation, natural cooling: No need for cooling fans, eliminating unnecessary downtime and maintenance caused by cooling system failures.
  • High overall system efficiency and power factor, energy-efficient: System power factor ≥0.95; efficiency characteristic curve is "hard" (stable across operating ranges).
  • Robust motor structure, impact and vibration resistant, no permanent magnet materials: Rotor has no permanent magnets or coils, eliminating demagnetization risks. High reliability, resistant to high temperatures, vibrations, and impact loads; no performance degradation over time.
  • High control precision, fast response speed: Integrates servo control algorithms for rapid and precise position, speed, and torque control; speed accuracy ≤0.1%.
  • Professional engineering application design: Dynamically adjusts motor operating parameters based on load or process requirements of the application scenario to achieve optimal matching.
  • Convenient maintenance, low maintenance cost: No special tools or equipment required; downtime for maintenance is reduced by over 70% compared to permanent magnet motors.
